On april 2, 1945, Drs Forrest C, Allen of the ‘University of
Kansas, Lawrenes, Kansas transmitted to me a clipping taken from ‘a :
April 20, 1945 issue of the Kensas City Star, written by you, relating
to my father William Bain, now deceased.

I desire to thank you for the splendid job in handling this matter
in a most exceptional manner. Believe me when I say that my sister and
I are most thankful for your kindness in correcting the dis erepen cies
that previously appeared in the Kensas City Star concerning our father.
