Dear Bill:.

I thank you for your kind invitation to attend the
Heismith Basketball League opening night on Wednesdey,
December 4, in the Municipal Auditorium.

I regret exceedingly thet I can not attend your
luncheon beceuse I will be in Wellington the night before.
I will be happy,. however, to be with you et the opening of
the League gemes the evening of the 4th. It will be
necessary for me to drive up after my besketball practice.
I certainly want to do all that I can to boost a very worthy
project such as the Naismith League. If there is anything
additional thet I can do to boost this very successful and

Where shell I nent when I drive in? Due to the
fact thet I am coaching, it will be necessary for me to |
drive my own car, and, since it is about fifty miles each
wey, I imagine the expenses will be around $6.50 or $6.00.
