I aslmowledge receipt of your undated letter
of recent date.

I note that you have sent your transcript to
the University of Keneas and that you are plenning to
enroll here this fall. This delights me very much.

There is no fumd here, nor is there any way
that I imow of, that you could have your tuition paid
for playing baseball. We would be glad to give you a
job in which you could earn money, but none of the
schools in the Big Six have such a provision that I
know of. :

I have viewed with much interest your fine
baseball record.

What do you expect to study at the University
of Kansas? I would be happy to hear more regarding
your interest and desires, end if there is any way
that I can help you at this stage it will be a pleasure
to do 80.
