Dear Mr. Allen,

I have sent my transcript to the University of Kansas
this week and am planning to enroll there this fall.

I would appreciate it if you could let me know if I
would be able to have my tuition paid for playing baseball.

I have played two years of American Legion baseball.
The first year our team reached the finals of the state tourn-~
ament. Our manager was lr. Be A. Waree I have also played
for Mr. Carl Sears.

Iam now eighteen years old and ineligible for American
Legion baseball.

At this time I have worked out with the Tulsa Oilers,
but they are now on a road trip. The manager, lr. Roy
Johnson, told me to get my arm in shape and when they come
back he will help me with my pitching.

Tt would make it much easier for me to attend the
University of Kansas if I could have my tuition paid.
