Dear Doctor:

We are invited to bring Phillips Petroleum's
basketball team, National A. A. U. Champions, to
Madison Square Garden to compete with the Ohrbach
Athletic Association team, New York A. A. U.
Champions, the evening of November 25. The game
will start about 10 P. M.

Mr. K. S. Adams and I cordially invite you to
be our guest at an informal stag dinner at the
Ambassador Hotel at 7:30 P. M. and afterwards at
the game. We will go direct from the dinner to
the Garden.

As you perhaps know, more physical skill and
quicker mental decisions are required in basket-
ball than in most other sports. All members of
the Phillips team are employees of the Company,
and five are All-American.

Please advise me at this office as to whether
or not you can be with us. If you cannot attend
the dinner but can join the party later at the
Garden, your ticket will be mailed to you.
