Dear Dr. Allen:

When in Lawrence, a week or so ago I talked to you a-
bout Louis Steinmeir, Wyandotte High School boy who wants
to enroll at Kansas next year. Louis would like me to come
up to the University with him this Saturday afternoon (July

20,) and I told him I would write to you to see if you would

be on the Hill so that we could drop around and say, hello",
while sight-seeing on the campus. It will be about three
o'clock in the afternoon before we can be in Lawrence as it will
not be possible to leave Kansas City, before one-thirty.

If you will be at your office and it will be possible
to come in for a few minutes we will go ahead with our plans
to be in Lawrence this coming Saturday. If you care to drop
me a letter on this I would appreciate it, otherwise, we will
