I thank you very much for your
letter of April 27th. informing me that I have been
put on as an alternate for some of the Big Six basket-
ball games.

I appreciate your having recom-
mended me, and I assure vou that I shall do everything
in my power to maintain the high standard of officiat-
ing which has been established in the Big Six.

You mentioned in vour letter
that I would receive a notice from Mr. Menze in re-
gard to the appointment. 50 far, I have not received
it but I am sure it will arrive in due time.
