Dear Doc:

I have your letter of April 27 and I am very glad to change
our February 26 game here for you.

Of the alternative dates that you gave us we cannot play be-
tween January 5 and 12 as we are playing on the 6 and 8 and we are
not permitted to play on the 11, 12 and 13 because of Religious
Emphasis Week here. We are playing Missouri here on January 15 and
go on a trip to play at Oklahoma, playing there on January 20 so we
cannot work it in on this second alternative, the dates of January

Your third set of alternative dates, February 12 and 20, are
not very good because we are playing you at Lawrence on the 12, and
Nebraska here on the 17 and Missouri there on the 22. You suggest
as the 4 and 5 alternatives some date between March 1 and 8, or
February 3. I would like to play you then, either February 3 (which
you say you do not care for particularly) or Tuesday, March 5. You
take your choice of either one of these dates, I have just a slight
preference for the February 3 date, although either will be satis-
factory. Will you lét me know before you leave this week-end as I
have already notified the officials on their assignments.
