Regarding your telephone order
today for 1 cylinder Liquid Chlorine - we
did not wire you concerning this order because
we could not make shipment from Kansas City.
We have, however, relayed it on to our principals,
Monsanto Chemical Company, requesting that if
possible shipment be made from St. Louis. We
have asked them to advise you direct whether or
not they have mterial available to fill the
order.

As we explained to you on the telephone
the Government has taken some 30% of all of the
production of Chlorine in this country for use
in the National Defense Program, which not only
makes Chlorine, but abl of the chemical items
whieh are derivatives of Chlorine short on the
market. We assure you that our principals will
if possible handle your order, but in any event
you will hear direct from then. ;
