NEW METAL PLATFORM SLIDE

The No. 410 Series differs from the 404, 406 and 407 Series
in that a large heavy metal platform made of bronze is used
instead of wood. It has corresponding rear-arrangement ot
hand-rails and supports.

The chute design and construction are the same as those
shown on pages 8 and 9, and employ same details as shown
on page 11.

As shown at right, the chute is 16 ft. long, and may either
be straight or wave type. Other chute lengths and relative
heights are set out by numbers below.

The 16 ft. size may be either stationary or portable, but
the large numbers are all stationary.

The larger sizes have extra bracing for stairway, supports
and chutes, to insure complete rigidity and strength.

This series represents an exceptional value in lower priced slides of small and medium sizes. The chute
design and construction are standard in every way, using hardwood and “Armco” iron.

The stairway is of best grade hardwood, and very heavy. The handrails and end-supports are hot. gal-

KINDERGARTEN OR HOME YARD SLIDES

Sometimes a slide is desired for the little tots, either in the home yard or in the kindergarten, and for
either outdoor or indoor use.

These are made of good materials, nicely finished, and of suffcient strength and durability to meet the
needs of children no older than 8 years.

We offer in this series all that may be expected in this sort of
slide, but we do not recommend it for the larger children nor for
general unsupervised use among mixed age-groups.

The chute is made of hard maple of best quality, and with an
excellent finish. The stairway is also of wood, well braced. The
hand-rails and end-support of the chute are tubular steel. They
are all portable, and are made in three chute-lengths. The height
to top of chute is about half the chute-length.
