friendly, to say the least, and I seriously considered
organizing the K. U. alumni in a letter-writing attack
on the Eagle. It is my opinion that no sports writer

is secure enough in his job to stand much criticism, and
wien letters begin to roll in to the editors of the paper,
they usually put a stop to any offside attitude on the
