ALEXANDER HYDE TREASURER THE MENTHOLATUM Co. WICHITA , KANS. WICHITA,KANS. BUFFALO, NY. EASTERN OFELGE 4206 FIRST AVE. BROOKLYN, N.Y. ge Fee Shae 2 ee es STR EET SAN TEAR ESCO May 28, 1940 Mr. Forrest C. Allen, Director Physical Education and Recreation University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Mr. Allen: This is Alex Hyde, another jayhawker speaking. Thank you for your letter of the 22nd. Through . ‘some unaccountable misunderstanding we are evidently in a bit of a jam. However, if you will help me straighten this out, I am sure you will eventually find it very much to your interest. By that I mean, it will not cost you one cent and you will find something of great value to your basketball team. You are too aggressive to overlook a revolutionary new product that will keep the feet of your basketball players in perfect condition. Both the keg of Onox and the foot-mat must still be in Lawrence as they never reached us. While Trainer Nesmith may think his present method of athlete's foot prevention is quite satisfactory, that may beonly because he is not familiar with this later method. Why not accept this keg of Onox and the mat as a present from me? Go through with the test and you may be surprised with the way Onox will develop resistance to fungus infection, chafing and blistering. When you find your athletes entirely free from foot infection, you may reach the same conclusion as thou- sands of Onox users who realize that killing the fungi from day to day is not sufficient. What do you say? Will you keep the Onox and lick the athlete's foot problem next year? Sincerely yours For AE3HH : ONOA, Inc. C.Q.CHANDLER,Crairnman oF THE Board F.L.CARSON,PresiDent 7 J.W.
