THE CALL TO WORSHIP “Holy, Holy, Holy” (The People Standing) THE PRAYER OF CONFESSION (The Minister and People) Our Heavenly Father, who by Thy love hast made us, and through Thy love hast kept us, and in Thy love wouldst make us perfect, we humbly confess that we have not loved Thee with all our heart and soul. and mind and strength, and that we have not loved one another as Christ hath loved us. Thy life is within our souls, but our selfishness has hindered Thee. We have not lived by faith. We have neglected Thine inspirations. Forgive what we have been; help us to amend what we are; and in Thy Spirit direct what we shall be; that Thou mayest come into the full glory of Thy creation, in us and in all men, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. THE PRAYER FOR PARDON (By the Minister) O Lord, we beseech Thee, absolve Thy people from their offenses; that, through Thy bountiful goodness, we may be delivered from the bonds of those sins which by our frailty we have committed. Grant this, O Heavenly Father, for Jesus Christ’s sake, our Blessed Lord and Saviour. Amen. THE CHORAL RESPONSE (The ushers may seat the people.)
