: Thanks — for your good letter of the seventeenth in-
stant. I am sending you a carbon copy of the letter that I
am ere Carl Anderson, Gene's father.

We have just finished our swmer session of aight
weeks and at the present time I am cleaning up a lot of the
stuff that could not have been taken care of during our busy
eight weeks. As soon as I hear from Gene's father I will
comaunidate with you regarding the time that I will be in
Salina. Henry Shenk end Dean Nesmith are in Wichita this
week at the coaching school so it will be necessary for me to
stay close to the office to run the local affairs.

Ernie Quigley is still in bed at nets but és make
ing satisfactory progress.
