I have an item which I feel should be placed on

the agenda for the National Basketball Committee at its
meeting this springe

I believe there should be a discussion by the
Rules Committee on a wmiform interpretation of officiat-
ing over the United States and that the different repres- —
entatives on the Rules bedy should take up the inhibitions
and sectional differences in officiating to see if we can

sectional prejudice.

I am suggesting that the different camissioners of
basketball take one outetending official from each section, _
representing the teans that are playing, end thet prior to
each game they are to officiate these two cutstanding
officials get together and discuss their interpretations,
and then publish these interpretation differences so that
the spectators will know what to expect.
