Dear Dr. Allen:

I am writing to get your opinion as to the chances of our
getting the National Association of Basketball Coaches to
return to Kansas City for its 1942 convention. They were
very well satisfied with their convention here last year,

and particularly from the angle of the tie-in that it gave
them with the National Collegiate Athletic Association finals,
and it occurs to me that they might come back, if properly in-
vited.

I would like to have your reaction to this idea and your sug-
gestions as to how to proceed, if you feel that we should go

after it.
