Dear Dre Allen:
This is to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of March 15.

I note the excellent arrangements you have made with the Kansas City Convention
and Visitors Bureau to handle the registration, etc., for our coaches meetinge
I had written Blair Gullion, chairman of the membership committee, concerning
this item of business and assumed that he had taken the matter up with youe

I am writing today tellimg him of your arrangements. I am sure that he will be
much pleased, as this will relieve him and his committee of considerable worke

Ed Hickox wrote me some few days ago that he had made arrangements for the
stenotype operator to take down the proceedings of our meetingse I am sure
that that has been arranged for and you may dismiss this from your minde

I am indicating on our program the possibility of a sightseeing tour for Satur-

day afternoon, March 30. As I have our program now arranged, wes hould close \
by late noon on Saturdaye I am sure that many coaches would be interested in

a tour of the city or places near to Kansas Citye This has been suggested to me

by many coachese JI am also indicating on our program the price to coaches for

the final championship game at the Municipel Auditorium, at 8 o'clock on Mare 50.

I am sure that we should have a good attendance from our groupe I will forward

you a program later on during this weeke I hope it meets with your approvale

You certainly are putting in a lot of time on this set up and I can tell you
that I personallk appreciate the great amountof work you have done in connection
with our meetinge I have often heard it said that to get things done it is al-
ways advisable to place them in the hands of a busy mane In your particular
case, this has certainly proved to be other than a stock phrase. Many thanks
