Dear Dr.Allen,

You're going to excuse me on the
basis of a friendship which I have for
you, and a bit of which I have had reasons
to believe is returned by the Jayhawk sports
chief,

But the letter which you have address-
ed to two Wittenberg coaches asking for their
"cryptic" remarks will most probably get just

what you ask for: something mysterious,some-
thing out of the tomb

I'll be damned if I can get them to
say anything for publication, other than the
routine, but maybe you can shake something

which after all is what you wanted, and
not my facetious greetings involving
comment on one of those rare times when
the chief misuses a word.
