- It was swell of you to write as you did in your
fine letter of April 2nd. I want to tell you that I
have never worked with a finer or more cooperative
gentleman than Gene Zachnen.

/ And I want to offer a splendid tribute to your
hustling and amiable Assistant, Jimny Nixone Gosh, that
fellow has the zip and the go, vlus a fine imagination
and a cooperative spirit.

' ZT went down to the sport desk to thank Clyde Me-
Bride personally for all the fine things that hie paper
had done for us, and I told him that you two fellows had
ll the old college try that we find on a sophmore ball
clube ‘he sooperetion and the enthusiasm that you ex
hibited te me stole the show so far as I was concerned.

It was a great pleasure to be associated with you
people and I will always court the opportanity of working
with you at every possible times y
