Dear Dr. Allen:

To schedule the state training institute on physical fitness
programs for high schools as of July 8, 9, and 10, fits well

into the summer session schedule. Strong Hinman attended a called
meeting by the United States Office of Education not long ago in
one of the cities in Ohio. The Office of Education is anxious
that as many institutee”as possible promote the physical fitness
programs that now should be a part of the offering of every high
school. I believe that the institute as it is being planned here
will meet the request ofthe Office of Education.

You will be interested in knowing that Strong Hinman will not go
to Missouri this summer as the superintendent of schools in Topeka
has work for him there. I thought you might be interested in case
you should care to use his services. I hope you will take care of
the advertising and promotion work because these men who work in
this area are well known to you. If there is any assistance that
this office can give, please let me know.
