THE VERTICAL FLOAT

The swimmer appears to be suspended in the water
by his chin. The mouth, eyes and nose are above the surface
of the water. This permits breathing. By moving his arms
this swimmer can change his body balance and make his legs

rise and his body to a horizontal float. See next picture.
