Bill Kovanda, a senior, is one of the fastest men on the Cornhusker

squad excelling as a floor man. He won a minor letter two years ago and a
major award last season. Was 17th high scorer in the conference last year.
Is president of the senior class. Hails from Elk Creek, Nebraska.

"Alton Werner played his high school. basketball at Frankfort, Kansas.
He played a first string guard position last season and in 1936-37 earned a
minor letter as a forward. Present home, Kansas City, Kansas.

Robert Elliott is a jack-of-all-trades. Plays guard, center or

forward. Comes from a basketball family, his brother Tom having captained

the 1927-28 Husker cage squad. Won a B team letter in football two years ago,
