Dear Dr, Allen;

Due to your being so busy, I thought I%d write
you as to my business and then if you wish to see
me personally we could arrange for a conference

at your convenience.

Could I be released from my position in the

Physical Education Department at the end of the

 

first semester? The cause for this jolting
request is the age old institution of marriage,
and if I could be released I would certainly
appreciate itas I would kike to be married in
January or early February. I have said nothing
about this to anyone as I wanted to talk to you
first.
