In investigating the cost of a public address system I ane
found that Bell's Music Store had a second-hand system, 14 watts, for fifty
dollarse This set is very effective for indoor amplification in the € k.
gymnasium but not powerful enough for outdoor use for a very large 0

Hannats Radio Shop reported they could build a 25=watt
set for $125e00. Later he located a second-hand, S<year old vocograph,
which may still be availableg The price for that one is $80.00. This
is a 25=watt set and could be used for a large out-of-doors crowde

He also has a new 25=watt Audiograph, with turntable victrola
record facilities for $125.00e The set without the turntable sells
for $15 or $20 lesse

The 14<watt machine is strong enough for. our use in the
gymnasium, but I am wondering if you would like a stronger one for use
during the summer recreation programe a.

Mre Crow looked over the set from Bell's Music ny and
pronounced it very good for that prices He recommends the Bil hs syi
as possibly the best, but that costs around P2256 O0e

We need some public address system for our work in teaching
dances to large groupse I do hope it will be possible to arrange for
one of these machinese
