Dear Dr. Allen:

I should like to be released from my contract, the
resignation to become effective at the end of this
school year. In view of my approaching marriage, I
find it necessary to tender my resignation.

I am grateful to have had the opportunity to assist
in the work of this department and the experience
of working with you and the other members of the
department has been a most pleasurable one.
