Dear Dr. Allen:

Professor Werner turned over to us a jar
of salve the composition of which you were interested in.
I imagine the preparation is in the original container
and since it is a commercial article, doubtless you could
furnish us with a larger sample as the small amount in the
bottom of the jar would not be sufficient for analytical

purposes.

If this much of the contents of this jar
has been used, it would be interesting to know if the
preparation has proven efficacious in the treatment of
fungoid diseases.
