At 2330 we leave by bus for Ardmore AAF where we play our 4th basketball game of the
Season, o far we haven't even been pressed, Some of the officer players are flying
over, it being only a 40 mile hop. Two more have quit the squad, so my chances im-
_ prove as the season progresses--and elsewhere it-has hardly begun. The Army-Navy
game comes on when we leave so unless someone brings along a portable radio I'll just
have to read about it in the papers. JI have played in the last three games.

Iam enclosing a PILOT, yesterday's edition, My contributions are checked, Next

week the editor, Sgt. Dana Blocker, will be on furlough so Sgt. lilax Stokesberry and

i will have more work to do. The basketball team will leave Monday afternoon for

Denton to play North Texas State Teachers so one "writing" day will be interrupted.

I plan to go to the Cotton Bowl game between Okla. A&M and TCU at Dallas New Years. I
have already seen TCU when they were trounced by Oklahoma U. So the Aggies, with
Bob Fennimore, shovld triumph. I might take a three day pass--I'm entitled to one.
