Miss Stapleton received her B,. 5. degree in Bdueation
from the University ‘of Kansas in 1923— In 1955 she reesived
the Master's degree from Columbia University, and she has also
done an additional mamor's graduate work. ‘She has taught in
the Kensas City schools since 1928. She began in the element-
ery schools, then wes rotating teacher for the junior high
school. Later she taught science and ecuestion in
Southwest Senior High Sehoole Prior to present position
she taught in the Kansas City Jimior Colleges
