I em wondering if you plan to take corres so that you will be elicible this fall. I had hoped to have & chat with you but the opsortunity hes not presonted itself. If we cannot win it, we would rathor that Louis Menze of Towa State win it. I notice some of the coaches know more about all the other teams in the Big Six than their own. I am not worrying about the other teams, I am worrying about my own. Jack Gardner has a bunch of old age destroyers on his team. If aging basketball players provide the key to success, he's got the answer. One of his Varsity players this year was a freshman at Kansas in 1957. _A year ago I thought Kansas State would win the title this year because Gorald Tucker, Winfield flash, enrolled at Manhattan. But since he migrated to Oklahoma it would see logical now that Okla- homa should win it. : George Edwards will make sure that he is noticed in the Big Six before the season is over. Herbie Gregg, the "scintillating © _ phantom" of his last years team will enroll the second semester and somebody had better look outS As Je Lewandowski, Cornhusker, made a big splurge last year at Nebraska and Nebraska followers are expecting much from thé Cornhusker coach. . I am going to spend my time worrying about my team and not the opponents. December 1], 1941 Mr. A.
