I have just checked with the Registrar and find that
you failed in your $ hours of Feonomie Geography.

While making 2 wey to Western Kansas for a commence-
ment address this Yay I took two boys along with me who
live in thet part of the state. They told me then that
you sat in the back of the room and wisecracked on the
peculiarities of the professor and they were sure he
wee going to flunk youve

I said nothing to you because I realized that it
apparently wae too late for you to correct this diffi-~
culty with your professor, and too, I had felt that I
had offered so much advice that any effort on my part
might be misunderstoode

You made a fine record in your 12 hours of 8B, and
what a wonderful thing it would have been if you could
have been compatibae with this or for whom you
apparently cared little.

I em wondering if you plan to take corres
so that you will be elicible this fall. I had hoped
to have & chat with you but the opsortunity hes not
presonted itself. I have been se busy in the evenings
at the pleygroud, and during the day I have been teache
ing in the morning and doing my wpiring and administra-
tivé work in the afternoon. I imagine that you are
working in the evenings and that you have the same
difficulty that I haves I would be gled to hear fran
you at your conveniences
