Dear Bobby:

I just received the letter from the Rock Island for you and
am sending the seme to you. I would suggest that if you gare to you
can write these people in Philadelphia telling them that you are a
medical student at the University of Pennsylvania and ey can
eall on you there or direst their correspondence to you at your local |
address. That would facilitate my sending it back forth, and
when they find that you are a medical student there believe they
will be a Jittle more prompt in giving you the money

I am just hurrying this off Saturday morning that you
get it Monday. We play the Central Missouri State Teachers College
of Warrensburg this afternoon so I am just cleaning off some odds and
ends. I got a letter from Ray Bvans thie morning, acknowledging the
Jayhawk Rebounds, as you acknowledged in your letter of Monday. The
boys do seem to appreciate it and I am glad to be of any service that

We are playing a Homecoming game against the A.S.?.Pé here on
Friday evening. They are having their Homecoming celebration in Hoch,
and are building the basketball game around it. Our boys are awfully
light but when we get our full power I believe we will have a pretty
good team. We have a light team now and a strong wind would blow them
out of the hall. The Army boys are big and tough. They have boys from
Pennsylvania, Illinois and Indiana, and they look good, but it won't
hurt the boys to perhaps get a licking in the early stages because they
are against some very tough competition.

I enjoyed your discourse on the Penn game. I listened to it over
the radio and it seemed as if liavy had tremendous power and grew stronger
due to their reserves and the scarcity of Pem‘s reserves. Mit was at
the house last night and I came home and got your letter I read it

the letter on to Mother so that she will have the
letter from you. I wrote her night before

T just called Mr. Cote this morning and he already has your ticket
from the office on the 18th of December from Chicago to Kansas City, and
he is now wiring Chicago for the parlor car ticket for January first,
Kansas City to ALO

‘Mother will get home December 6 so she will have plenty of tine
to play for a nice Christmas.
