situation to surmount. You remember when I wont with you to
talk to tis. Milton she promised me that she would let mo hear
from her. This: she did not do. Thorefore, I considered that
any further negotiations would necessarily come from her be-
cause she has never expressed her views to me. a

I assure you I had no motive only to be fair to everybody,
