Dear Toms

I am sending you a check for $1.00 for tire inspeotion
end lubrication. The car was entirely unsatisfactory after
I had had the spark plugs changed, the new points, and the
carburetor cleaned. I immediately came back and told them
the car would not start, and although there was a time inter-
vening between the time when the spark plugs and carburetor
were cleaned, I made it a point to come back early and state
that it was unsatisfactory.

Therefore, I do not feel that I owe this $2.00 charge.
Since the carburetor had been worked on previously, about
all that I see that was done was to allow a more sopious
flow of pas. I made two trips to the garage to inform your
people of my difficulty so that I would not be charged for
this correction which should have taken place at the fifst
trip. I mailed you on October 4 a check for $9.07.
