I have written Roland Legan asking him if he has sent the tickets
on to you for the Army-Havy geme on the 29th. If you do not .
receive them in the next few days it might be a good idea to drop
Roland a friendly note telling him that you are appreciative of his
kindness in getting them for you and esking him when you might

This is the morning of the.Aggie game and eve 4s dashing madly
about, and some have hopes of a victory. I am @fraid, .
Zelsnack and some of the other Aggie huskies will pr powerful
for them. It should be a good game. Dr. Peete and his family are
coming down and are going to the game with us.

You will pardon this short epistle, but I wanted to be sure of the
tickets for you. |

Our school does not dismiss here until the 26th. I am to speak at
Cape Girardeau, Mo. at a banquet that night so I will leave after

my 10:30 olass and drive to Cape Girardeau. I could catch the train
out that night at St. Louis and get to Philadelphia in tine for the
game, but I would have no chance to visit with Jane in Chicago and

I think it better for me to save my money and wait until such a time
thet I can heve more of a chance to visit with you. Mother may not
go although she has nothing to tie her down as I dow If she does'nt ,
come you can plan on selling the two tickets to some of the boys who
might want to see the game and if she does come, then you can seal
the one. I want, of course, that you and Eleanor should see the Arny-
Navy game because it is a great spectacle. A world's champion prise-
fight, the Army-Navy game, the World's Series and the Kentucky Derby
are things a fellow should see once in a lifetime if he is lucky.
