years of long service that he’s given to his fellows and his come

‘read about it in the paper. The meeting will be Monday noon, Nov. 5
at the Eldridge Hotel at 12:20, and of course, you will not mention
to him the malady that I spoke of. He's coming along fine, with the
radium treatment and we're hoping that he will come out all right,
but at his age anything might happen.

From your last letter I presume that you are now wearing the shoes.
Mother was worried and afraid that they had gone astray. I realize
how busy you are and do not expect letters as often as Mother
desires them, but I'1]1 take mine in rain checks and when you get
home we'll have some good long visits. I do believe you need some
GlycoeElixer so you answer and tell me if you'll take it if you get
ite I can get it wholesale and have it delivered to you in Pennsyl-
vania in a short time I'm sure.
