With further reference to Dr. Forrest C. Allen and
his writings, 1 might say that Dr. Allen hinself says of the chapter
on "Athletic Injuries" which appeares in "Better Basket e
"Personally I think it is the best text on athletic injuries that ean be
found in the country. I wrote it for the benefit of the high school
coaches. It was my desire to stimulate in them an interest in the better
care of the boyé under the coaches’ control."
