Dear Jane and Hoot:

I merely want to thank you again for the ~
cologne that you gave me at Christmas time. I have had
more compliments on it than eny shaving lotion that I
have ever used. In fact, so many people have asked me
where to obtain it that I have had to tell each and
every one that it came from my daughter and son-in-law

in Chicago.

The brand is Cuir De Russe essence by
-Cowdley. Where did you get it, Jane? And is Cowdley
& brand like Yardley or Lentheric? I am anxious to know
so that I can tell my friends about it.

This is just a short note written in haste
but I wanted you to know how wonderful it was, how often
we think of you, but how seldom we write. Trust you are
both well.
