Dear Mr. Atterbery,

I have your favor of the Sth instant at hand and contents
noted. As much as I would like to accomodate you I also
haye obligations that I must mect and would appreciate your
remittance at the time the note is due. I heve formed a
habit of going to the bank and borrowing money to meet my
obligations. Frankly, I believe this is what banks are for.

I do not want you to think that I am not sympathetic with

your situation in which you have commissions coming and can-

not collect. I am in a similar situation and so that I can meet
my bills on time I would appreciate it if you will send mea ~
money order for the amount due.

I have been planning on driving down to Cabool and if and when
I do I will surely stop by to see the property. You must have
made e nice looking place out of it and I am sure with the in-
flux of peopte from Pt. Leonard Wood and the Neosho Camp area

that you ha s obtained very good renters. Thanking you for an
