Dear Mr. Allen:

This is referring to the $100 note and $42 interest that will be due
November 11. I am writing you, Mr. Allen, for an extension of 30
days on this and I will pay interest on the $100 and the $42 inter-
est for that month.

I have quite a large amount in commissions that are due me from sales
from the Fort Leonard Wood and from the Neosho Camp areas but the
buyers have not received their money, and it puts me a little short
right now.

Please advise if this is satisfactory with you, if not I will have to
go to the bank and borrow it.

Since we took the property over we have put deadening felt on all the
rooms, papered them, put in a bathroom, recessed bathtub, and I have
arranged for a man with a tractor as soon as the weather settles to
come with Fresno and grade and terrace the place as we had originally
talked.
