inviting me to appear on your annual Spring PosteGraduate course,
which will be held from June 2 to 7 inclusivée

I consider this a distinct compliment and nothing would
give me more pleasure than to accept your kind invitations But
doubtiess you realize that the University of Kenses has a School
? = Medicine heree The faculty of this School would doubtless feel,

as they have felt before when such opportwities ceme to me, that
I would be doing things in conflict with their Schoole Therefore,
since I am at the University I consider it wise and expedient to decline .
your generous offer. Ian sure that you will understand this
