Dear Mr. MoKimey:

Your letter of the 4th instant is hereby
acknowledged. I have been out of the office, hence my
failure to reply.

Mr. ¢. L. Vaughn hes not written me regarding
the property. I am holding the forty acres for one thousand
dollars cash. If you will write me what your commission is,
and if and when Mr. Vaughn writes me, I wiih include your commiss-
ion in with the price that I quote hin. =

I shall make no move to get at this with him but
if you should initiate ny correspondence with him, I of course
expect to pay you commission.

I reserve the right as owner, you understand,
to make any direct sale to anyone that you do not refer to me.
