The committee has carried on a mail campaign among their owm acquaintances who were also friends of the late Chancellor. The committee felt that the best memorial for Chancellor Lindley would be a fund which would perpetuate through a lectureship his plan of "The Human Situation" and "Plan for Living", The completion of this fund will be announced as one of the 75th anniversary gifts to the University. When I was speaking to you the other day, we. talked about basketball coaching and I forgot to mention to you the fact that I was coaching baseball this spring and the last date of our game with Kansas Aggies was May 23rd and 24th, and with Towa State here, May 26th and 27th. So the partial disability should run until May 27th. I was impeded from coaching baseball in the same. capacity as I was handicapped in coaching basketball. | If you desire me to fill out another blank, please mail me one and I will be glad to fill it out for you.
