Under the Revised Federal Revenue Act the Tax on
Admissions and Dues has been increased one percent. This
will increase your dues in the Lawrence Country Club 45 cents
per year. Under the new set-up the monthly dues for the first

six months of the year will be $4.17 and for the last six $4.16.

The revised act became effective July 1, 1940. You
were not charged for the increase on July 1, so the adjust-
ment is made on this billing.
