oe + tha ae MEETING OF THES EXECUTIVE COMMIDTER OF THE KANSAS CORGRESS OF PARENTS AMD TEACHERS HUTCHINSON, KANSAS --APRIL 15, 1942 The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Kansas Congress of Parents and Teachers met in the Lunch Room of the Bisonte Hotel, Hutchinson, Kansas, April 15, 1942 at 4:30 P.M. Those present were: Mrs. E.'W. Emery, Mrs. W.R. Loder, Mrs. E. E. Miller, W. M.-Richards, Mrs. Geo. Winters, C. M. Miller, Mrs. D. D. Harbaugh, Mrs. Ben McCamant, Rev. Fred Smith, lirs. G. Goodson Wright, Mrs. Jas. H. Whipple, Mrs. J. W. Ourslocr, and Mrs. L. R. Fulton, Parliamentarian. Mrs. EB. W. Emery, President, presided. The Secretary read the call and the Agenda was passed. Mrs. Whipple presented the report on Explanations and Procedures for State Chairmen to be presented to the Board of Managers. MOTION by Mrs. E.’E. Miller that under "reports" in chairmen procedure outline, that State Chairmen be advised to compile at least three questions to be sent to the local units for their yearly report. (CARRIED) MOVED by Mrs. Winters that acceptance of this report given by Mrs. Whippie be recommended to the Board of Managers. (CARRIED, MOTION by Mrs. Miller that the President appoint a committee to bring Standing Rules up to date. (CARRIED) Committee appointed was: Mrs. EH. E. Miller, Mrs. W. R. Loder, and W. M. Richards. Mre., Oursler brought up the question regerding exchange of magazines with directors of K.S.T.A. This was suggested at a previous meeting. No report had been obtained.
