oo «@ APPROVAL OF COUNCIL BYLAWS MOTION BY Mrs. Lucile Rust, to accept the report of the Chairman, Mrs. Carl Anderson, on Bylaws and approve the Bylaws of the Liberal City Council, Me Pherson City Council, Amendments of the Bylaws of the Kansas City, City Council and Salina City Council. CARRIED. BUDGET COMMITTEE REPORT Mrs. L. Re Fulton, read the proposed Budget for 1941-42, as set up by the committee to be referred to the Post-Convention Board meeting. REPORTS OF OFFICERS AND CHAIRMEN The remaining District Directors read their reports and on MOTION by Mrs. Glenn A. Steven, the reports were accepted and filed. Reports were made by the Chairmen present and the report of the Emblems Chair- man and the Editor of the Kansas Parent Teacher Magazine, were referred to the approval of the Convention. BOUND COPIES OF THE KANSAS PARENT THACHER MAGAZINE PRESENTED Mrs. Ben Mc Camant, presented the Congress with bound copies of the 1940-41, Parent Teacher magazine for official files, as compliments of the Zona Printing Company of Wichita. MOTION by Mrs. E. T. Beck, that a letter of appreciation be sent the Zona printing Company, for the volume. CARRIED. The Board gave a vote of appreciation to Mrs. Ben Mc Camant, for the Splendid work she had done on the Kansas Parent Teacher magazine, as its editor. Mrs. M. A. Taylor, National representative arrived and was introduced. LETTERS _AUTHORIZ=D By commen consent the Secretary was instructed to send a sympathy card to Mrs. R. L. Barker, at the loss of her brother and regrets for her inability to attend the Convention. Also to Mrs. R. A. Seaton, Mrs. Carl Anderson and Mrs. R. H. Short of Salina, 2 past Vicepresident of the congress, who was celebrating her golden wedding anniversary. A telegram had been received from the British Columbia Parent Teacher Federation, with greetings to this convention, and was read by the Secretary. A telegraphed reply was suthorized. The National Representative, Mrs. M. A. Taylor made a short talk. There being no further business the meeting adjourned. Mrs. E. L. Jenkins, Secretary.
