Dear "Phog":

At the meeting of our executive committee of the
State Parent-Teacher Association at Emporia last
week it was unanimously agreed that we ask you to
come for our annual meeting and deliver one of the
three principal addresses on that occasion. We
want you to talk on the subject of recreation.

The general theme of our meeting this year is
Better Homes for a Better America.

Please do not say that you cannot come, because

that will be very disappointing to the entire com-
mittee as well as a "let-down" for me. The meeting
is to be the 14, 15, and 16th of April. <As I recali,
the tentative program suggests you for the general
meeting on the 15th. If you will mark that day and
advise me 1 shall write you more fully relative to
the desire of our committee concerning your part in
the program. We may not have more than 400 present;
however, we did have 900 last year. This will give
you an opportunity to meet and talk to the mothers
and some of the fathers of your future prospects at
the University.

Your expenses will be paid by the Association, and
please whisper to me the honorarium you desire for
this service.
