NATIONAL CONGRESS OF PARENTS AND TEACHERS ~ 600 SOUTH MICHIGAN BOULEVARD CHICAGO, ILLINOIS Instructions For Accredited Delegates RE: VOTING BY MAIL According to a communication from your state president, you have been selected as an accredited delegate from your state to elect national officers. The procedure to elect by mail, voted by the national convention of 1942 at San Antonio, is necessary because of cancellation of the 1943 convention. Enclosed is your ballot. Place an X in the box beside the name of each person for whom you are voting; if you wish to vote for someone else, write that name on the ticket in the space provided and place an X in the box beside that name. Place the ballot within the smaller envelope and seal it. Sign your name on the envelope where indicated. (See Robert’s Rules of Order Revised, pages 199-200, on voting by mail.) Then enclose the smaller sealed envelope in the larger one, which is addressed to Mrs. Clifford F. Thompson, chairman of the election board. Seal and mail immediately. Your ballot must be in the National Office on or before 6 p.m., May 11, 1943, in order to be counted. MRS. CHARLES D. CENTER Secretary
