October 3, 1944 pr. fon carlos Peete, 4140 Cambridge, . Kansas City, Kansas. Dear Dr. Peete: I was in Mr. Quigley's office this morning and Earl Falkenstien handed me an envelope which I trust is self-explanatory. Roy Hamey told Earl that you left these three one dollar bills and apparently picked up the 807 from your $20.00 bill. Earl wanted to know if I would see you soon and I told him I hoped so, but I did not know exactly when. Therefore, I am mailing it to you in this envelope. Life still keeps up a pretty strenuous tattoo for me, but I hope to be seeing you in the near future. Sometime in the not too distant future I am going to be your self-invited guest at your dinner table. I don't know when it will be, but I am counting on it. Jean and Bob are home from Philadelphia, and Bob is looking a little thin but is getting some rest and I sm sure that it will not be long until he will get back his usual zip and pep. Mary left for Palo Alto Sunday night at 12:36. Jane is still with us and seems to be enjoying her stay at home, as we certainly are enjoying having her with us. Mit, Isabelle and Judy come over for evening dinner and we have had quite a seance in the Allen house~- hold. Give my kindest regards to your good family. With all good wishes, I an Sincerely yours, Director of Physical Education, PCA :AH Varsity Basketball Coach.
