DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMICS J.M. SANDS, VICE PRESIDENT KK. Eo BEALL R. A. HENDRICKS Cc. E. TURNER sae January 24, 1945 Dr. Forrest C. Allen University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doctor Allen: Thanks to you and Dean for your time and effort in getting my knee back in good shape again. I was sorry that I could not get over to Lawrence for more treat— ments but had to be back in Bartlesville on Saturday. You fellows, as usual, did a very good job and I did notice much improvement after my two visits. I hope to be playing again in about a week, I became acquainted with most of your boys and think they are @ swell bunch, Good luck to you all through- out the remainder of the season. Best of luck to Dean in his tour - incidentally, if he is going to Europe, he may have to hurry. Respectfully, Ys, FJP:BJN
