Dear Mr. Ferren:

_ Our deep gratitude to you, sir, fox. your most unusual cooperation
in regard to the Red Crosse contributions handled by your firm.

I acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your check No. 59787 for
$5,201.00, together with personal checks and money order, the total
amounting to $5,355.37. I have turned the entire amount over to Mr.
Wade Pierve, the chairman of the Douglas County Red Cross Chapter.

We thought it best to waif a few days for the personal checks to clear
the benk, then we will go forward with the distribution of the funds
to the several county chapters involved. It was mighty fine of your
company to make an itemized list of the contributors of the different
counties. We will inolude a duplicate list of the individual contri-
butors so that each county may have this list in their possession.

Again we say thank you very much for this unusual service.
